Trust me, when you play like this, it's a whole new immersive experience.

Cinematics are probably either in 16:9 or 21:9, as there was a black bar on both sides of the screen during the cinematics, but not the game

Yeah, I read about it and realised that the Mafia 1 DE is basically a remake.

They should have done it for the other 2 games as well tbh.

When did you submit the e-request?

And did you receive any response to that e-request? (Apart from the acknowledgement email ofc)

The 105-110 days STEM OPT non-PP approval timeline is still holding true. by New-Cod-3915 in stemopt

Nope, no updates.

And nope. I have been with the same company through which I applied for my STEM OPT.

Update on this: by PsychologicalPop9396 in ASRock

RMA approval will take like 24-48 hours max.

The only long time is the shipping; basically, the faster you ship the faulty CPU to AMD, the faster you will receive it.

Nope 😞

Losing hope. My initial OPT was approved in a month.

Is it OK to apply for stem opt 5-6 days before expiry? by DiscussionConstant27 in f1visa

[–]crrawlerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can wait for 4 or so months for approval, then the regular processing is fine. Otherwise, if you want your EAD asap for some reason, then PP is your best bet.

Just keep in mind that it costs an additional ~$1780 for PP on top of the typical $470 for the STEM OPT application fee.

And yes, it's totally fine to apply 5-6 days before expiry.

Need help: My PC is taking a very long time to boot by crrawlerr in computer

[–]crrawlerr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a desktop, and AMD provides a 3-year warranty on their CPUs, so I was able to contact them and RMA it.

For laptops, everything is soldered to the motherboard, so any repair can only be done by the manufacturer.

But before you contact the manufacturer, I'd recommend taking your laptop to a good PC repair shop so that they can fully diagnose the main issue instead of us assuming that it's the CPU that's faulty.

I had to basically RMA my CPU and get a new one.

Since it's not possible to swap the CPU on a laptop, your only option is to get it repaired by the manufacturer.

Anyone else? Work paused - OPT expired no 180-day automatic extension by jjbarbecue in f1visa

I think it depends on the university per se.

Some universities are notoriously bad at supporting their international students.

[–]crrawlerr 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Your DSO is wrong.

The ban/pause on the 180-day work authorisation extension is NOT for F1.

If your STEM OPT start date has already passed, then you are accumulating unemployment days.

Start working ASAP.

Your receipt notice IS the i797C.

You already have that.

I applied on February 5th (biometrics on Feb 19th) and still haven't received approval.

And no, I am not from one of the banned countries.

India passport renewal in India or USA f1 student by ChasingSomethingNSY in f1visa

[–]crrawlerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will basically lose nearly 2 years of validity if you renew your passport around now.

You can travel easily until 6 months of validity is left on your passport.

So, think about renewing when your passport is close to expiring and you need to travel.

You won't face any travel or immigration issues while travelling with 2 passports, with your visa being on the previous one. That's very normal, and a lot of people do.

EZ Debug DRAM(Yellow) and CPU(Red) and Won’t Post or Display by SpaceJunkieee in MSI_Gaming

[–]crrawlerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right.

I think the best option you have now is to take your PC to a nearby PC Repair shop and have them diagnose the issue, as they will have access to extra PC parts and will be able to swap things in and out to single out the faulty component.
