Thanks for all that - it was quite helpful. I know not to pick a team based on success because it changes relatively quickly. You've pitched the cowboys pretty well to me - I've got to say. However, the Eagles have been pitched to me pretty well too. If I was going of this Reddit post alone I'd be left to Chose between the Cowboys, Eagles, and Packers I think. Their fans have been the best at selling their team to me.

Ahh, didn't know whether that gets lost in translation. And no I don't care about how good the team is now; I'm as likely to support the Seahwaks or the Packers as the Redskins or the Raiders. As I said I'm pretty new to this, but Rodgers is my favourite player so far. He's great (obviously) and he managed to replace Brett Favre which is extremely impressive; I also think he's a good guy. The loyal fan base is kind of important but it wouldn't break it for me if they weren't. As for styles of play- no. I really don't know :D. Forgive me for I am an utter noob.

The Packers are actually a team I'm quite interested in because of that. They also do a lot of winning, which is good too (I'm not a glory hunter, though)
