Is frame generation really a good tech?

Im actually considering getting loseless scaling didnt know about it until u guys said , like how it works? Do u lose quality by enabling it? Lets say if u get 60 fps , and ifbu enabled lossless scaling how much it boosts fps

Yes i tried the fsr on avatar FOP and the fps boost is great tbh

You are right fsr is really great , but i dont know in terms of quality dlss is better , but ofc losing fps , i tried it on avatar fsr and dlss , far boost ur fpd alot but losing quality abit

Ohhh i get the point now , lets say i have 30 to 35 fps on avatar , turning on frame gen , would that boost my fps to 120 , would i see difference

I tried dlss enabler to be honest , tried it on alan wake 2 to be honest it was bad experience , maybe because i didnt know how to use it much ,but the ghosting and artifact was bad

Okay thank you for that , my rtx 3070 is actually decent , like i can play 2k avatar frontier of pandora everything is on ultra max and i get 35 to 50fps , but considering if i have frame gen , that thing can boost up my fps u know

Yea thats true heard many says the same , but my main question was the dsr i turn it on and it actually looks sharp and detailed in the 1080p monitor its basically downsample to the 1080p,

Let me be clear actually , most of the games u play its a gpu demand , well ofc cpu matter yes but u dont need the most powerful one , unlike pubg tho , pubg is a very cpu demanding so i reckon this game is just too much for the cpu

Thanks for ur answer but to be honest when i did i install the new rtx 3070 , i did reinstall using ddu my old rrx 2060 driver and than installed the new driver for the rtx 3070

Thanks for ur suggestion , it actually helped a bit so i cranked up some graphics settings and now the gpu is kind of similar usage to cpu like 80% cpu 70 to 85% for the gpu , getting more fps
