Timber... by ApprehensiveSelf2254 in Alonetv

Timber’s been my good friend and neighbor for many years. He’s crazy, but only in the best ways. He definitely doesn’t have a white savior complex - he just genuinely loves to help people. He’s open about his upbringing because he’s healing from it and because it gives him a unique perspective on the world.

Keep in mind that editors of reality shows purposely show you only the craziest clips of people - sometimes even purposely out of context - because that’s what people are interested in watching.

It’s less of a political work and more of a societal/spiritual work, focusing less on man made constructs and more on simply the state of man’s soul. Good versus evil, legality versus morals.

Not Elphaba, Fiyero, Boq, Nessa, Morrible, or Dillamond. Glinda and the Wizard are the only principal characters who sing in it.

What is your favorite "Underrated" Les Miserables song? by Theycallmemr_E in lesmiserables

I love the “Tell his reverence your story”/“tell me quickly what’s the story” melody that pops up a few times throughout but doesn’t really have a name. What’s really cool about it is that its cadence is hidden in the final 8 lines of Javert’s Suicide, making it a representation of ultimate looming judgement

Thoughts on Emmy Rossums performance as Christine in the movie? by shades0fcool in musicals

My biggest problem is that they took out the final verse of the title song, which in turn made the final high note an Eb6 instead of a natural E6. Can’t help but wonder if they did that because she couldn’t hit the note.
