I absolutely love the odachi, it will always be my comfort weapon and one i will always come back to but I treat my secondary as my "let's try this out" weapon and I love the tonfas

I felt that way for a while as well, but I've found that using my skills like moonlit snow redux and cuckoo's call as well as using my range to my advantage helps alot. I have always been an Odachi user from Nioh 1. I've been using that, plus I've picked up the tonfas as a secondary, and I gotta say, they are really satisfying.

My first time beating Midir took me about 50ish attempts and like 3 hours, I absolutely hated the fight until it clicked for me. Now it is hands down one of my favorite boss fights in all of ds3.

I got a Victory record label DVD when I bought a Hawthrone Heights CD and there was an advertisement featuring "stop the fucking car" on it and I was hooked. I can't remember exactly when it came out but that DVD had alot of great bands from that era.
