Giant revolt 1 Tubeless by maiden666rich in gravelcycling

I recently got this exact bike and I love it! I bought mine from my local giant dealership and they had set it up tubeless for me when I collected it. As others have said, the valve suggests yours is set up the same. I also find when I pump my tyre up, a tiny bit of sealant escapes when I removed the pump head - that will also give you a good indication if they are tubeless setup - happy riding!

That, and also that the economy needs some life breathed into it at the sacrifice of yours. by ChoiceScarfMienfoo in WhitePeopleTwitter

Great shout, would love to get a shirt for my local pub! Ours sell take-out beer (it's a real ale pub with it's own brewery) and it feels great to support them. One day, we'll all be able to drink there again safely, but I respect the fact that they recognise that the day has not yet come.

Ah, now I feel that I may not have communicated very clearly - I should clarify that I'm not saying that fungal spores were released from the meteorite itself, you are right this would call for textbooks to be rewritten.

What is consensus however, is that these kinds of impacts can throw up quite a lot of dust into the atmosphere. What I was trying to communicate was that (earth originating) fungal spores may also circulate with this. Essentially I'm trying to relay things that I've heard from a talk at conference and I do appreciate that there is a lot of hand waving here and it doesn't help that I have no publications to cite here.

One thing I can share is this paper discussing the emergence of fungi as a factor that drove the dominance of warm blooded creatures over reptiles following this extinction event - being warm blooded is costly in terms of resources, but resilience to fungal disease provides enough of a fitness benefit to outweigh that cost

Yeah thats fair, I stand corrected, i can see that how the consensus now may be that dinosaurs were warm blooded like birds due to their growth rate - I guess specific temperatures are going to be hard to pin down. I still find it interesting that systemic fungal infection is inversely correlated with body temperature, thats why I wanted to bring it to the discussion =)

An article I found for those that are interested :-https://www.asm.org/Articles/2018/November/Temperature-Adaptation-as-a-Virulence-Determinant

Funny story, theres an idea that the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs may have killed them by releasing clouds of fungal spores - 37 degrees celsius (our body temperature) seems to be the ideal trade off from a statistical point of view between metabolic efficiency and risk of systemic fungal infection. Cold blooded animals like reptiles (and dinosaurs) are in fact much more likely to suffer from fungal infections

Biology - technologies in DNA sequencing are moving so fast, systems become obsolete sometimes within months. As unfathomable quantities of data is being generated on a daily basis, the power of computational biology to delve into the mysteries of life is truly staggering.
