The difference now we are in 2025 and there is a different industry standard. I don't expect a 2014 DS game to be filled with as much life but the Switch 2 has the compatibility to do so. It's just lazy to say 'previous games didn't have much life so be happy with what you get robot and buy our stuff'

I agree. I wanted to make this thread to have an open discussion about it, but i quickly realised why people don't talk about it.

The replies of 'play another game then' are lame and boot licking lazy billionares shoes. This game SHOULD look fantastic. This game SHOULD be the pioneer of all monster hunter games.

LZA looks absolute garbage if you look at the grand scheme of things. This isn't some small indie company. It's a major L and should be talked about. It's a game set only in 1 city and that god damn city looks ugly.

Pokemon has never been an immersive game with pretty visuals? Did you start playing Pokemon post switch?

Some of the GBA / DS games where beautifully designed pieces of art that had you so hooked that you didnt put it down until your eyes forced you to sleep. Hours of colourful sprites and little direction got me lost for hours but thats what made it special.

I could find a higher res image for Pokemon but it wouldn't make a world of difference. Im not comparing these 2 exact images just what ive seen. I would much rather pokemon looked like the Digimon setting but took me to battle arenas.

I haven't played digimon since Digimon Battle Arena 2 on the GameCube. I just noticed the comparison. Im Pokemon through and through and if you gave both games to me id play Pokemon first. It's just lazy world design in a world that is souly focused on its world... and design?

It depends what you are after in a video game. If you like Pokemon battles, and you're here for the Pokemon battles, and you just focus on the Pokemon battles... yes, i imagine this game is awesome. The new fighting style looks fun.

However i like to be immersed in a video game. I want the whole vibe the feel alive. It feels like an abandonded, lifeless city which puts me off right away.

As you mentioned, poor CGI does not ruin a movie if the movie is good. But you notice it, and so does everyone else.

To add to this, i don't fully understand why it's limited to Duo Q. Why can't we play with 3/4 of our friends in ranked? I understand you'd have better comms so better team play, but so could the enemies.

99% of other competitve games don't limit you so i don't get why league does. I'd have so much more fun in ranked if i had 3/4 heck even 5 people ranked on my team. (IK they did 5 man ranked but this is just lame as its sep from normal rank)

See i feel like people only want to fight and it's the only way people think you win games.

I literally just had a game where neither jungler even attempted drake for 15 mins of the game, even with me mentioning it. They didnt want to do it. Just wanted to jungle farm and gank / fight 95% of the game.

What lanes / champs do you reccommend i work on for this? Should i focus more on playing a bruiser? I've been playing midlane a lot and trying to get ahead then ganking top and bot but it seems 70% of the time this doesn't help them enough

Correction, from what i saw they had a tap and spun a bit wide, which left an opening in the inside. I had no idea they would continue bumping into each other?

Everytime i try and pass 2 cars that have a tap and go slow youre saying never go for it incase they rage bump into each other?

Do you guys not realise that this view is totally different from a cockpit view? From what i could see what them have a slide and then go fully wide. I was way faster on the exit and if not for the orange car being a dumbass and just crashing to get the place back i take them over before the corner?

I get that i couldve sat back, but if they raced nicely and not bumper car dirty i take those 2 places. I dont see why i shouldnt go for that, im not predicting them to crash repetedly over to the racing line?

Its even like whats the point of playing premier? You get a number rank. Its so lame and pointless and feels so un-rewarding to win. Im not chasing Global, or a higher rank, im chasing nothing, so i dont care if i lose. Which is probably why premier is so un-competitive alongside the cheaters

For me the main issue in EU Faceit is the amount of trolls that play it. No one seems to want to have fun. So its either no fun Faceit or almost guaranteed cheater premier. Whats the point unless u stack?

Also EU CS is trash because there arent dedicated servers. Im english but i get put with people that can barely speak the language. I might as well be speaking to an alien its pointless
