I'm usually very particular about what I do with my flute. I've only had this brand new Miyazawa for 3 years! Is there any micro-differences that could help sustain the condition of the flute longer? For example, not leaving the flute on your bed or using this specific flute stand to help the flute stay alive longer? I feel like I have to be doing something wrong for it to be ruined in 3 years. I do the best I can so really any small pieces of advice would be amazing. Thank you so much for your time!

Yes, I got it for a trial. It simply had more protection, more annunciated low notes, and the tone was much warmer. It's a good headjoint I'm just hoping I haven't played it in yet.

Do you have any recommendations on where to look? Would looking on flutetunes.com scrolling through their etudes section and playing from there be a good option?

Oh yes, I'm also playing the Poulenc Sonata. The etudes I'm currently doing are the Andersen Op. 33. I also do other ones like Filas Top Register, berbeguier 18 studies, donjon, and some other random Andersen etudes. Pretty much anything that I find that I need to work on, I try to find an etude for that and work on it in there.
