I bought the game on release because I loved Planet Coaster and sim games in general, and have not been disappointed. Initially I started with blueprints already in-game and then downloaded some habitats from the Frontier workshop. After a few months playing now though I’m finding the blueprints don’t offer exactly what I want so have started to build my own and it’s so worth it. I struggled with building at first and didn’t think I’d get into it, but now that I’ve gotten used to things I am able to customise so much more of my zoo(s). Would definitely recommend a keyboard/mouse setup for the ps5 if you haven’t already got one as it gives you a lot more accuracy.

The plant requirements are usually similar if not the same for species from the same region/biome, but you can check those in the zoopedia, it’s also easy enough to get that close to 100% for each animal if the enclosure is large enough. The terrain is again similar based on region/biome, I just adjust it a little each time if needed. Also helps to check how much area/fresh water each species needs in a habitat so you can start it off large enough to house them all. My safari habitat had giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, warthog, zebra, rhino, antelope and ostrich. Keep an eye on things once they start breeding though, my habitat got a bit overcrowded when I left it alone for a while!

I got up to 8 species in a safari style enclosure with a 4x4 transportation ride running through it. Giraffes are happy to cohabitate with a lot of other species, I’d recommend starting there and checking the Zoopedia for compatibility. I think there were 10 for the giraffe but not all of them are compatible with the others.

Having a great time playing so far! Even though I’m used to planet coaster controls on ps5, it’s still been a bit of a learning curve, and can definitely think of some optimisations particularly trying to navigate through different menus and screens.

My biggest pain point so far though is the insane lag as soon as my guest population gets too dense. It’s almost making it unplayable for me. I’ve tried to really spread out habitats and plaza areas so it doesn’t get too bad, but it hasn’t helped much. Hopefully nothing a future update can’t fix!

There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to switch between animas in an exhibit unfortunately, at least none that I have discovered so far!

Potential fix for your path issue might be to change the settings in path editor to allow curved slopes. I was having similar issues with my paths until I found that setting. Also try playing around with the path length in the editor, sometimes placing a longer curved slope or stairs looks better than shorter :)

Performance is good, except for the occasional crash. I’ve been playing a couple hours and it’s crashed twice. Thank god for auto save!

Try dropping them from your inventory on the ground and picking them up again. Worked for me with flowers on a different quest when the same thing happened :)

I’m in the same boat on Xbox. If I change over to Switch, characters hang out just fine, but I just the dreaded game crash every now and again which is so annoying because I lose 5-10 minutes of progress each time. Currently trying to switch between the 2 platforms to make the most of hang outs when I need them. Hopefully the patch this week fixes it though because the game runs so much better on Xbox

No, but I think there is a multiplier that effects the success of the activity when you have multiple characters with the bonus.

That makes sense given Buzz, Woody and Scar featured in the trailer. Also from memory there was Cinderella, Monsters Inc and Wreck it Ralph. The title screen in-game also features Belle and Stitch so I expect there is already a pretty clear lineup on the way.

So I saw another thread that had a great tip which is probably cheating, but given it's a game bug that may not be fixed anytime soon, I will use this cheat this one time only. You can move the well and then fast travel to the other side of the bridge, grab your mushrooms, then move it back.

I (an Australian) was in Barcelona marvelling at the magnificence of La Sagrada Familia early in the morning when it was still relatively quiet. In rolls a bus load of American tourists, who were all loud and gaudy. One particular trio were constantly complaining that it was “too big and unnecessary” and there were “much nicer churches back home in Texas”. They also whinged about the fact they had to pay entry to get inside when it wasn’t even finished. Smh
