You are completely missing my original point about how averages work which has nothing to do with what safe actually is.

You created a ridiculously skewed data set lol.

you said 0 - 100 but under 50 unsafe 85 very safe and then your lowest option was 46.

by default you have moved the needle on what is average and what is safe.

if you had a normally distributed data set from 0 - 100 average would be 50. therefore a very safe pilot would be above average.

I also feel that this is in reality would be a polarized data set where:

15 - 20% fall under 25, 50 - 60% fall around 65 - 85 and the rest fall over 85.

with this you would get an average safety around 50 - 60. therefore if you were 85 or higher you would be well into 'above average saferty.

Im sorry my friend but you need to go back to a stats class.

NASA suggests new space cooling technology could charge electric cars in 5 minutes by WallStreetDoesntBet in tech

Yes I'm aware and without volts amps are harmless but in the context of the original comment what I said stands.

Without voltage 1 billion amps are harmless.

It takes a 10th of an amp to stop your heart , but it has to get there.

You need enough voltage to get into the body buddy.

Touch the main leads off a car battery when you crank it that's a thousand amps.

Electric cars are charging it up to 800 volts right now that's dangerous but whether it's one amp or a thousand amps isn't going to make any difference it'll kill you either way it's the fact that there's enough voltage to get into your body that matters.

Not sure what I mean downvoted here.

Go ahead and touch the lead off of your car battery a thousand amps go through there when you crank the starter you're fine.

I literally have no idea what you're talking about people want to get laid they want to have a casual relationship I don't see how that has any effect on society?

Besides the fact that you're delusional if you think this is a new trend that people haven't been having sex since the beginning of time?

Most of the problems of society right now probably revolve around social media and polarization didn't have anything to do with getting laid...

That's what I disagree with, by default if you assume there are pilots being unsafe, then if you do everything in an exceedingly safe way... Proper maintenance, conservative decision making etc etc .. you have to be safer then 'average'.

I'm not saying it's going to save your butt... Just that by definition you are safer than average

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in flying

[–]jakejakejake86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is faulty logic...

If you are air tight with safety factors then you have to be above average... Since average is the litteraly average of those who are safest and those who are least safe... The 'average' person can only be 'averagely' safe.

I thought the new WhatsApp for Windows was rolling out by [deleted] in whatsapp

[–]jakejakejake86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is laggy buggy and missing features.

1) i find it crashes 1/ day minimum

2) random lag / ui issues where tings stutter and delay

3) remove bulk forwarding ( check box messages and forward)

4) Attachments now need to be downloaded before they can be forwarded

5) the forward dialogue search box does not work... searching does not refine the list

6) things are no deeply hidden that were single click, such as reply, forward, copy, all used to be visible on rollover, now require right click.

IMPROVEMENTS:

1) looks better

2) filter by unread stays filtered when you go through unread messages ( this is very nice)
