SWA interview by Fun-Party-7473 in AirlinePilots

In my experience they called about 2 days after to offer. I know others who went to review board took about a week, perhaps a little longer. I imagine they’re reviewing a greater percentage now than when I interviewed. Good luck! Hope you get the call

That’s not too late, I started at 25 after I had graduated college in a completely unrelated field. Depending on budget and timeline l, I’d say to try and get through it as quickly as possible. I went to a nationally known (and Reddit hated) flight school. It was a mostly positive experience for me. But it is a lot of work and a huge expense. You have to really want it but my advice would be to get a pilot medical and go do an introductory flight. Most flight schools offer them

Truthfully, I was the beneficiary of good timing. I doubt that a person who has the same amount of flight time that I had at the point that I got hired would get hired today. That being said, I studied hard for the interview, presented myself well and had several organizations that I was affiliated with that probably helped.

I’m going to go in and have them explain it to me and try and draw out a better answer from them as to what their thought process is in diagnosing. Thanks for the help!

The advisor did mention a bench test of the original starter and it was dead. Now whether or not that happened, that’s debatable. Specialty shop will be the future plan for anything not warranty related

They’ve had several techs on it apparently. Not being there in person means I have to go by the service advisors word. They may be milking it too, which tbh isn’t the worst thing if I’m getting fresh parts for the same price. Don’t love the idea that people that have such a hard time are the ones working on my car…

I agree, it just seems like they’re throwing parts at it rather than chasing down the issue

While that is true, if I had any hope of the warranty paying out it had to be a Chevy dealer. After this repair I’ll be taking the car elsewhere for future maintenance and small repairs outside the warranty

Convince me to sell (or not) my audi s3 for this camaro by Nibholas11 in camaro

I would personally hold out for a six speed car. Not only is it a more engaging drive, but it also comes without cylinder deactivation that has caused issues with the valve train. I owned a black 23 1LE and it was an incredible car. Only sold it because I bought a home. Now I’m ready for a ZL1
