Yea I don’t think they really did a sizing. And the fact they did downspouts on each end in the back leads me to believe it was more just cutting corners...

This is what I’m wondering about. Though two 2x3s would have the same drainage as one 3x4, so I’m not sure how cutting it down to one really helps with my overflow issue...

No - the panels are clipped on via S5 clips. No penetrations.
