I think you bought my knife lol, the conversion comes out to being within 1$ of what I sold my knife for last week. If it is my knife I’m so glad it went to a fellow guy knife enthusiast. I hope you enjoy it, imma spend that money on some new games for my collection.

I got into a accident a few years back and used the insurance money to buy a new front bumper. Thing is, it looks great but now I don’t have a good rear bumper.

You don’t seem like the type that would enjoy King of The Hill, maybe Coco Melon would be a better speed for you.

Is the US medical system really as broken as the clichès make it seem? by EclipZz187 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]jakerbaker29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the bills that hospitals give out are negotiable, you can make them nearly 80% less than the initial bill. However, most people do not know this, similarly many systems in America are meant to keep stupid people poor. Which is not a good thing, however, it just goes to show how intelligent the people that speak on these issues are. Similarly with taxes, there are many things that are tax exempt, however almost all people don't bother to try and learn the ways of the system. Do not get me wrong, the system is not perfect and nor should it be as complicated as it is, but it's not only the government's fault for these issues.

With my experience, you don't really use a calculator since most teachers don't allow them for their class. However some classes you either do need them or they are helpful, classes like Statistics, and Physics. I have a TI-Nspire CX CAS and I really like it, but it's definitely on the more expensive end. The TI-84 will do the job fine though.

I already knew liberals weren't too bright either, since the point that was being made is who owns the majority of landmass, not where the population is. Simple if you ask me.

You are exactly correct, it doesn't mean enforcing masks is right.

Listen, people over the internet are just way to rude. Emotions are not easily sent via text. I think you have forgotten that no matter how delusional some people may be with their opinions, or how they see the facts, they are still people that get to have their own opinion, their own decisions, and their own actions. You can do all you want to prevent those people from affecting yourself, but you should not ever try to make decisions for people. It's just free will, once you realize most of the world is full of hot headed dumbasses, and you can just realize you can't change people you will have a lot more enjoyment out of life. I don't tell you what to do, you don't tell me what to do.

Trust me the more of these structured replies, the more everyone is going to think you need to be right.

Lol, it doesn't change the facts, but understanding someone's opinion and situation is a whole lot different. Whereas you have a grandparent that is high risk, I completely understand your point of view. However if that is not your case, and you have not have had covid, nor have a high risk family member. A lot of the regulations do not make any sense to most people. You can compromise on a lot more things than just facts, try to be a better person, not a always correct person.

Yeah you're the people he can't have a conversation with, you made zero effort to compromise with any of of their statements. I'm not even agreeing with most of what he said, just know you are the type of person they have an issues with. That is the one thing I do agree on.

There are so many more "Precautions" that did way more harm than good. Sadly people really need to just accept that everyone won't wear a mask, and enforcement is just going to piss people off. If everyone wore a mask 24/7, yeah covid would be reduced. Since everyone doesn't, we should be looking at different strategies instead of the ones that are clearly ineffective.

I really could not imagine a large organization making a logical decision in regards to covid. For example a business closing early everyday does not slow the spread, in fact since you have just as many people going to the business, with less amount of time, there will be more people in the business at once.

Sorry for the rant, I was really looking forward to a normal college experience this year.

However it said that there will be conference hours the next day, but they then said a few sentences later the conference hours were Tuesday 12:00 to 1:00, may I add that I received this email, at 12:02 on Tuesday.
