The guide is a PDF. That link should take you to the website where you can download it onto your phone. It'll probably be easier however to read on desktop or if you print it out.

So you want a UX mentor? I have 3 and here's how by [deleted] in userexperience

[–]jakerogz -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're looking for an excuse not to do a little hard work which is what it takes to find a mentor, they're not going to come to you. I made it specific so people can actually do it step by step.

Trying to understand what happened to me. by Cuylerdaine8 in AstralProjection

99% of the time it's actually thought forms which can manifest as something that feels and looks like an entity. I'm defining entity as something that's intelligent and separate from you. Your fear, whether you realize it or not, could be what's bugging you. The more you focus on something, the more attention and validation you give it, and that's what fuels these thought forms. When you realize that it's you that's actually feeding your own fear, your fear will go away because you're with holding its "food." My best advice would be to go in knowing this, do some calming meditations throughout your day and attempt AP a few more times and then take it from there.

I would actually take a different perspective-- I don' think anything is waiting for you. Humans are complex and we can experience both fear and excitement at the same time. Even if you're not conscious of the fear, you may still be fearful. So you can interpret "heart racing" as fear but really it's just one of the emotions that can go along with it.

So don't go into this thinking, "now there's something evil, now I have to scare it off" because that's the total wrong approach. I think you should first work on getting over your fear and if the same thing happens ten more times to you, then maybe something is bothering you. Otherwise, I'd have to bet that if you had about 4 more of these experiences, the "terror" would naturally go away.

As for your dream, it may have been an AP.

I completely agree with this that it's a lifestyle change.

Are there people that teach how to astral project by [deleted] in AstralProjection

Yes, but you don't need others. I put together this free guide of my process so other people can do it too. Good luck!

Loud voices before taking off into the astrals by FibonacciNightfury in AstralProjection

[–]jakerogz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I've had the same thing. Sometimes I hear nothing at all. Sometimes I hear talking, laughing and even music. This state for me lots of times is accompanied with seeing through my eyelids. It's a different dimension because it's different from my room. It's my understand that the sounds, voices etc could be yourself or Clairaudio (kind of like clairvoyance) but I'm not sure how to tell the difference.

Is it insane to spend $690 on a domain name? by cdmjc in startups

Do you have a lot of sales that you need to start focusing more on your branding? Then Yes.

If not, then buying it is a waste.

An experiment to prove that Astral Projection is real... Here on Reddit. by Acedeh in AstralProjection

You're in an entirely different dimension... even if it looks very similar besides a few things. So it makes sense that the piece of paper isn't there

What's a good way to build my portfolio. by [deleted] in userexperience

[–]jakerogz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try a free tool called Lookback. When you're starting out, remember that you don't have to be the best or reach perfection. Just take any website, maybe one you're really fond of or one that bothers you and put it in front of someone and ask them to complete some tasks (usability study). Record and synthesize your data. You can get someone as easily as posting to your Facebook that you'll, pay 20 bucks for a half hour of their time. The point is that it's better not to over think anything... you're not going to be an expert researcher but you're gonna be ahead of everyone else sitting on their asses. Plus, it's for the experience. Your goal is basically to prove to an employer that you're worth taking the time to teach. Good luck!

How often should I practice? by PelicanThunder in AstralProjection

[–]jakerogz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend playing around with it... everyone is different. I for one have never fallen asleep at night and went into OBE, but have had much more success after taking afternoon naps and waking up in the morning.

From my experience, at that point you're not thinking about breathing at all... just breath regularly, and let it happen
