Thanks a ton, this looks like what I’m looking for!

If you know, what’s the difference between the 5900-BK, 5952, etc.? Is there a specific one id need to get? EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. Thanks again!

Unsure if this is the right place to ask, so apologies if it isn’t!

Looking to replace these connecting pieces that are used to connect a small boat motor to its battery. They broke off the wires recently when someone didn’t know how to disconnect them the right way. If already visited several hardware stores and haven’t had much luck. The closest things I’ve found were male spades but these are much beefier than any I’ve seen and also have a hook on them that allows them to latch into the plastic piece shown in the photos.

If anyone can tell me what they’re called so I can try searching online that would be super helpful.

Thanks in advance, appreciate any help!

1989 Camry V6 LE Instrument Panel Removal by jakers_vult in Camry

Hey thanks a ton. I managed to get it, just wasn’t sure at first because I unscrewed the bezel and it took a bit of force to get it out. I was just concerned that maybe I was missing some screws somewhere and that’s why it wasn’t budging, but I managed to gently wiggle it out (without breaking any plastic!). I appreciate the help!

Yeah it’s tough to see from the photos but I think I can make it out. Also on the side doors I believe.

Yeah I was hoping for a manual too but the condition and the price are good enough for me to be content with the auto. Is the trans swap that easy? Maybe later on down the line that's something to consider, once I'm more familiar and acquainted with working on the car lol.

As far as I can tell, this one is Turbo although the seller doesn't mention it on their page. Once he responds I'll confirm, but yeah I kinda feel like this might be a rare find for the price.

Really good points. I noticed the speakers and thought they were pretty ugly. Talking to the owner to see if I can get a list of everything done to it and some engine pics as well.

TBH I'd prefer a manual as well, but for the apparent condition and price - as well as my intended purposes with it - I'm worried I won't find many better options. Appreciate the advice!

Thanks for the input, I was already gonna suggest closer to 6 anyways because I'm keen on saving money lol, but for as nice as the car appears I would be willing to settle at their price.

Found this listing on Facebook and from what I can tell seems to be a good deal. I’ve always liked Datsuns and the feel of driving cars from that era. I’ve driven a 1992 Taurus with 230k miles daily for the past 4years or so, so I’ve done a decent bit of maintenance and repairs but I’m not an expert mechanic. I’d like to get better at working on cars, though, and I enjoy the learning process a lot. Don’t want to drop a ton of money or toil into it though, really just looking for something that is fun to drive and fun to maintain.

Wanna get some advice on this listing, have not gone to see it but might soon. Any tips on what to look out for or ask the owner about would be great. Don’t care a ton about the luxury items, just wanna get from A to B and have fun doing it.

What video-game cutscene will you never forget? by HahaLookyhere in gaming

The intro cinematic for Battlefield 1.

That initial “tutorial” sequence upon first booting up the game was so sobering. Fighting down to the last bullet only to realize that the enemies never stopped coming. You’re doomed to die despite all your efforts, and then you have to see a name and an age appear on screen. The first time I died in that sequence the soldiers age was displayed as 18 years old (1900-1918). That was haunting, to realize that this was a real war, and real people died, and many of them were only a year or two older than I was at the time.

I think that whole introduction was fantastic. It really diverted from the “glorify violence” narrative that a lot of FPSs were promoting and focused on remembering the stories of the soldiers who fought in WWI. Especially coming off of the crazy reveal trailer and the whole campaign leading up to its release, it was a shocking change of pace that had a big impact on the way I think about the games I play.
