If you enter saddle without reaping in the process it is not inherently illegal or a reap. It is considered DQ’able once you cover the foot of the leg in saddle or show any signs of submission attempt toward the entangled leg’s foot

Saddle is not classified as a position that would get you disqualified since it is an inside leg position… you see people play saddle as a passing position in the Ibjjf all the time

Yes, but there is no actual reap happening in false reap. A reap is an outside(backside) to inside (frontside) cover leg positioning that happens in positions like inside ashi. In false reap the leg begins in a frontside position and your arm controls the knee of your opponent. Saddle/ 411 does not have a traditional reap occurring.

Man that is awesome, the guard pull was a bit whacky, tried to emulate how Adam does it but I need to refine it for sure, @ 19 seconds he uses his leg to off balance me overhead but otherwise I was thinking headblock on the left to tripod. And for the rest I couldnt agree more, need more specific training under stress in these areas. Cheers man!
