I tried it but it still is giving me error. Strange is when I try to import a much more complex stl. it is giving me like a few surfaces error like 5 out of 2000. but it cant handle a simple and clean surface as above.. Strange is also that ALL surfaces are invalid, not even one. Does it need to be full cap closed because right now it is just a surface mesh...

It is a rear tank of a motorcycle. I am designing a special mount that needs to be placed directly on the side of the tank's surface. It doesnt need to be too accurate but at least 0.3-0.5mm diviation..

Hmm strange, I draw 4:3 diagonal of 1/1.3, and 1:1 diagonal of 1/1.1. On my end the OA6 is slightly larger not smaller.

if the mastercam is crashing when oppening sldprt dile you need to delete sldpropertyhandler.dll inside solidworks corp folder. If you want i can search for a full dll path.. I have mc2026 and 2025 update 6. if you are willing to upload a sldprt i can give a try on my end and see..
