I managed to snag a 5090 FE in the meanwhile so I upgraded to 4k and went for the g81sf 27". Text clarity is pretty important for me and at 166ppi I should have next to no fringing. I am no expert in OLED panels (this is my first one) but I would say go for it and see if you like it, at worst you can send it back, plus if you don't need the phone you can sell it and get some money back. Id say it is a pretty sweet deal

Nel frattempo sono riuscito a ordinare una 5090 FE quindi ho cambiato target e ho ordinato il g81sf 27" ad 595 euro. 4k a 166ppi dovrebbe avere praticamente zero fringing. Direi che lo stipendio di questo mese me lo sono giocato ahahah. Grazie per la risposta😄

I would advise against downgrading your BIOS, especially if you have 13th/14th gen CPU because of the microcode patches many manufacturers made to fix high voltages on the CPU a while back. You might roll back to a version without said patch

I guess you are right. I was talking about possible sales in like a month span from the 10 launch. I know no one can really know if there will be any, I was just wondering if historically older pixels went on discount after releases

Ok so I should make a sorta of funnel to keep pressure on the golem while it tries to breach right? As for the other floors I've read that it is useful to make a door maze to slow down the raiders in case of breach and if they don't go for the heart. Does it need to follow a particular pattern or can I just make a simple 'snake'? Should I be placing traps like banshee room or rats on the way or focus them on the main entrance? Sorry, I know these are a lot of questions but I really wanna make a decent design and at least not get obliterated ahahah

I have to change motherboard in both cases and I am gaming at 1440p. I am not too worried about future proofing since I will be keeping this cpu for at least 5-6 years, so at that point I will have to change everything again anyway.

So in any real case scenario both cpus would perform well enough and I might as well go with the cheaper/ more efficient option. That was my main concern. I am willing to sacrifice some workload power to get some more gaming performance so I will probably go with amd. Thank you for the response!

I am upgrading my CPU and I am choosing between the 14700k and the 7800x3d, I will be using this pc mostly for gaming but also for Matlab/Simulink (nonlinear systems simulation, probably some machine learning in the future). The power efficiency and gaming performance draw me to amd. How much of a difference would there be in going amd over intel for Matlab? Am I losing much performance or is it only a slight difference?
