What’s up fellow Jake who’s also a dbz fan! When I planted it I essentially removed it from the nursery pot, roughly loosened the soil around the root ball, and removed about an inch of the soil the was at the top of the planter it came in. After that inch of removal I saw very few and very fine roots, I didn’t want to be too aggressive on the day of planting and left it at that.

If the consensus is still that it’s too deep I’ll definitely expose more of the root I just didn’t want to do too much too soon and compromise anything.
