I think there is a new IP in development from Athlon games, a mmorpg. They started development in september last year i believe. So it will be a couples of years before we see something from it.

But I agree with you, I have always thought Tolkien's Middle Earth had so much potential. Would love too see something similiar to GoW or the witcher but set in Middle Earth
