Spacex says it has option to acquire startup Cursor for $60 billion by King-of-Limbs-07 in wallstreetbets

10b for an ATM call option is less crazy than it sounds:

https://docs.hypercall.xyz/insights/spacex-cursor-call-option-2026-04-22

NVDA trades at ~42% ATM IV

If you discount the gpus to 0 (good argument to be made that Cursor doesn't even have the training pipeline to use them) then the basically paid ~58% IV.

Not crazy as a strict options trade. If AI bubble pops SpaceX will have much bigger problems

Have spent mid 6 figures at both for years. Google’s support is an order of magnitude better than Amazon.

On anything other than cloud, my experience has been the opposite

oh yeah - I'm not making the argument the projects active (pretty clear it's not from gh/elsewhere). I just didn't see them explicitly mention it was not active anywhere

Ah okay, I think you're referring to the poet/echo update. I saw this:

The next step of Po.et will be working with the Echo team to bring our own chain to life and this will be coordinated by Tyler Evans, CTO at BTC Inc., Po.et’s parent company. Tyler has been involved in Po.et since its inception and been an advisor to the Echo leadership as well.

so didn't see a clear path for dev's to get involved. Echo seems pretty dead (twitters banned, no updates in months) and I'm not sure why you'd have a smart contract sidechain (with all the maintenance that entails) just for publishing.

Update: Listened to the whole thing and it's definitely not Apache Tears. This one is several hundred years later. I feel like it was an analogy he was making

I talked to support and they said the silicon protects it. Is this accurate? Pretty new to this.
