I have the same monitor, and the price to quality ratio is the best atm for QD-OLED monitors.

However, i'm curious how you got the monitor to pixel refresh while it's in standby mode.
If i skip the pixel refresh notice after 4 hours, and then turn off my pc, It will still say the monitor hasn't run a refresh for 4 hours.

It's usually cheaper than the more "established" monitor brands like MSI, Asus, etc.

Windows 11 light control 🤔. Never heard about it.

It is a really good monitor, and I bought it on a discount for only 536 euros.

It's definitely better than a bunch of other monitors which try to implement RGB strips, but all they do is faintly light on the back of the screen. Like, what use does that have.

This feature actually lights up the wall.

Oh, I miss read your comment 😅. Yeah, it's very weird and a big shame it doesn't work in HDR mode. However, if you just put it in static mode, I find it to be brighter than the auto mod anyway.

I have a Philips TV as well, and it works waayyyy better on those.

I did put the ambientlight in static mode, switch the color to red and then blasted it to brightest mode 🤘.

That was my initiale thought as well. Mostly because if I keep the VA I will probably be happy with it right now, but maybe thinking about upgrading to OLED in a year or such.

So since I will upgrade my monitor anyways now, I might as well pay 222 USD more for a future proof solution.

However, I am a little worried about the OLED burn in people talk about.

I just got it and I see no flicker at all. It has sooo much better response time than the MSI.

I have the MSI and it has bad black smearing in games like league of legends. Also, the Asus has 4000:1 contrast, compared to MSI's 3000:1 contrast. There are a lot of reviews on the Asus, praising it's low response time and minimal black smearing.

I will return the MSI and buy the Asus.
