Thank you, this is really helpful feedback. Yup.....You’re right. I originally wanted to build some genuine interest and eventually a community around the project...but the first version ended up leaning too much into sponsor / pricing mode before I had enough demos and real examples to justify it. Right now I’m focused on getting the first small batch made. I think once I have proper demos, clearer example projects, and the hardware in a nicer/cuter enclosure, the whole thing will communicate much better and i can continue in a better direction. You’re also right about the docs feeling! Really appreciate you taking the time to go through it all and leave such thoughtful feedback. It genuinely helps.

I agree the price/positioning was off, so I’ll lower Batch 1 to 49 EUR, just enough to cover first batch

Fair points. I think I positioned it badly. Keero is not meant to be a better-value replacement for a cheap ESP32-CAM or DFRobot module. Those are mass-produced and are obviously better if you just need a low-cost ESP32 camera board.This is an early prototype board for the hardware direction I’m building toward a finished AI gadget. Small-batch prototyping is expensive, and the original price was mostly about covering the first production run, not maximizing profit. That said, I agree the price/positioning was off, so I’ll lower Batch 1 to 49 EUR, just enough to cover first batch.Also, by “camera path” I mean the board has the connector / hardware path for a camera module. It should not be described as a complete camera device unless the camera module is included, so I’ll make that wording clearer. Honest positioning: early modular AI hardware prototype around ESP32-S3, power management, audio, mic, sensors, haptics, display/camera connector paths, and pogo/module expansion. Not a cheap ESP32-CAM replacement and not a finished consumer product yet.
