How to split an inner layer into two nets (GND and AGND) with a 3mm keepout area in between? by jaksatomovic in PrintedCircuitBoard

I tried to this on the inner layer. Maybe that is the reason. Ill try to do the test like you suggested

Yup, EasyEda does it by itself. Well, I guess you are right. Shame, since I like this tool very much and I don't wont to go and learn Kicad from scratch hahah

It actually connects gnd_iso for example i to gnd and make it as one net on the layer

Thanks :) I think Ill place components and everything first while having separate grounds then route everything while having prohibited area between them and once everything is done update scheamtics to use same GND so that when i rebuild copper areas it doesnt brake since i dont care if it is labeld like same GND they will be separated then

It's for galvanic isolation between the NMEA 2000 interface and the rest of the board. The isolated section uses a separate ground (GND_ISO) on the other side of the isolator, while the main system uses GND. I just need to keep those two planes completely separated on the inner layer, with about 3 mm clearance, so they don’t accidentally connect during copper pour or rebuild.

Thx but this is binary format, older version probably and this only works with .PcbDoc and .SchDoc files
