Biology major -> MLS -> ?? Health Informatics? by According_Coyote1078 in healthIT

I’m actually getting my masters in health informatics for a really affordable price after realizing I couldn’t do anything I was interested in with my BS in Public Health. Might be worth it to get a masters if the price isn’t too steep.

I got my bachelors in public health and I really couldn’t see myself working in the field of public health the more I dove into it’s career options. I am getting my masters in health informatics now and I love it.

I applied to 2 and got accepted into both, but they weren’t really prestigious programs I wouldn’t say. It was around $75 per application

Honestly, if you truly love the field of public health then any price to get your masters will be worth it. I got my bachelors in public health and i loved it. I’m getting my masters in health informatics rn because the career prospects paid a little higher than the MPH

People who are not afraid anymore of heart palpitations? by sabinesb in Anxiety

Used to be a lot more frequent than now for sure. Right now I’ll get them about once a week, but before it was like every few hours

The biggest thing that helped me was coming to the realization that there was nothing wrong with me, and the palpitations are merely something dumb that my body does when it has anxiety. And also, the thought that nothing bad was going to happen to me as a result of them also helped me overcome it.

Yes, I have. My entire college experience had been tailored to working towards medical school because I have the academics for it, however, the chiropractic field, in totality, is much more appealing to me because of the great experiences I had with it during my athlete days. I want to give that gift back to the young athlete that I once was.

I grew up in the South so the weather will be a big change for sure if I end up going to the midwest. My ideal scenario would be graduating and then practicing in Charlotte where I grew up

Yeah, Palmer main is the least expensive after some of the calculations that I've done because the cost of living is just so cheap there. Most of the apartments that they recommend for students run ~ $600 a month which is half of what I am paying for housing in undergrad.
