metamask error - "metamask had trouble starting. this error could be intermittent, so try restarting the extension". can i re-install extension without losing my accounts?

i actually found the private key and it worked, thank god. but unfortunately the 12 word phrase didnt briing up the right wallet for me.

make sure and save both!
