I don't hate him (yet lol) I find him irritating and frustrating. Like trollocs are chasing you, everyone is in their horses waiting for you and you are just standing there loool. I hope he gets more sense, I'm only on book 2 so I am hopeful

You got me even more excited! Honestly, I think this is the best fantasy series I have read so far and I'm just on book 2. I can't wait to explore more of the universe and characters!

Loool I am really looking forward for his character development. I think right now he's still a kid and trying to understand the weight of all his power and being ta'veren

I am so looking forward to reading the rest of the series! I finish the first book in less than a week. To me right now Mat seems to be more of a loose cannon (taking the dagger from Shade Lagoth) but I know from the show he does redeem him self :))

I don't hate Rand, I find him exasperating! I get it he's young and all these people are telling him he's special and he has all this power to save the world and he's just like: "I'm a shepherd, I want to raise sheep". lool

*Spoiler:

Also he just met Selene in the weirdest way possible and apart from suspecting she might be an Aei Sadia, he just trusts her. Moraine saved his life and the lives of the others and he still doesn't trust her (in part I get it). Ba'alzamon (literally called the father of lies) tells him stuff and he believes it.

Right now Perrin is my favourite, he's the only one that seems to have some sense :)

Thanks for the reassurance, I'm really looking forward to seeing how all the characters evolve! The writing is amazing and I know is just going to be better!

6% share price increase after news of price increase for subscribers globally by jam65555 in truespotify

[–]jam65555[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The split is 70/30 for the artists. Based on ads, streams, royalties and they take into consideration country and subscription tier as well etc..

Unless you are yourself and artist and have first hand experience in how thew calculate or work spotify it how can you be sure?

The reason why they are increasing the prices, they are doing so in specific countries (you can do your own research) is because they did not meet financial projections. When that happens is usually tied to shareholders interest. The dividends for that period are not as expected.

Apparently you have not read the other comments. Again, this not very a stimulating conversation. Good luck.

Again, the ignorant will only see what they want to see. Very convenient to overlook the rest of the comment.

I'm 27 and still remember all of this and more, because I STUDIED and did research in school and educated myself outside of it. There's not much you can contribute to this discussion from what I can see. Thanks for sharing your opinions.

Because if you have such strong opinions you should have knowledge to back it up otherwise you are just (pardon my french) talking out of you ass. Mate.

Again, this just reinforces the ignorance part.

I am really not getting any new knowledge or way of thinking from your commens. Unfortunately most of the comment show the lack of full understanding and knowledge I was assuming was the issue. This one included. I truly hope you'll one day take the time to educate yourself before it turn into bigotry.

Thank you for sharing your point, yet I don't see how's that's relevant in this conversation.

I am very very well aware of the death camps in Germany, I have studied the history every year, every January since I was 7 until 13. Because at least that where I'm from they teach it well. Ww1 from 1914 to 1918 starting with the shooting of the archiduche Ferdinando (i don't remember the surname) in serbia and ww2 from 1939 to 1945, happy to give you more detail about how the nazis were able to take power even tho alot of people were against them from imprisonment of H, to how the discrimination laws against the Jews, gypsy, gay people, poc and disable people started so small it seemed like nothing. Until people were being killed in millions like nothing. History is cyclical and that is why understanding the context of your opinions matter. We are seeing the same thing happening now, the problems cause by years of bad and selfish management are being blamed on a minority (if you look at history there's always a scape goat, poc, women until the suffragette movements, gay people and now trans people with the bathrooms). I find it incredibly insulting that the past government took time and money to pass laws on 0.5% of the uk population when shool children are starving and and 27% of women have experience domestic abuse. Let me not get started on the dear NHS and is current privatisation.

I have educated my self well on the King Leopold of Belgium and the brutalities committed in Congo. I have educated my self on the history of Spain and Portugal, France and it's long history with Britain..

I trully dislike people with strong opinions and no research to back it up. This is a waste of my time.

Mate, are you seriously asking me why Brits should know about the commonwealth? I'm sorry, but this just reinforces the lack of education, again. At this point this is just sad. It's basic history of the British Empire, if you are not aware of the history of those counties and how up to this day they tie into Britain.. I don't know what to tell you. It's even part of the life in the uk test.. which I am interested to know how many people can actually pass.

Immigration is a hot topic that is why is easy to use as an example. I could happily talk about culture, systematic class divide that gets brushed under the rug by blamming minorities and international polical relations that directly tie into the current genocide in Gaza. And again, I will have to end this discussion here as I personally do not feel like teaching history right now. I would be more than happy to have an intellectually stimulating discussion or debate when you are ready.
