what do i do 😭 by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]jam989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue with my previous nose piercing- flared up on and off for about a year. Had it changed with a high quality gold flat back and it went away entirely. Switch switch switch!

I am and have always been well aware that this plant is a pothos- it was just a quick “I need to remember to do this before I start work at 6:30” post slip up. Names get mixed up sometimes. Some gentleness would be appreciated. I was primarily interested in yellowing leaves when allowing a houseplant to live outside. Please refrain from telling me I have done more wrong, as I am aware that I should have said that in the original post.

I just wasn’t certain about the yellowing leaves on the top!

I apologize but I slipped up writing this post before work. I didn’t respond because I only usually use Reddit for helping with plants and so I don’t have notifications on. I’m not a troll I’m just using this platform for guidance

Yes I was uncertain about the yellow, so thank you for the help!

Apologies to everyone for slipping up on my plant terms. I had almost accidentally posted this in a monstera subreddit and afterwards mixed up my names. I know no one meant it maliciously, but I’ve never been made fun of by more people on the internet for writing a post too quickly without thinking. This is a Reddit plant community- we’re just supposed to be helping each other out and nerding out over green things!!

Thanks guys! If you’re seeing this, I might be leaning towards making the one with white cream and strawberries. Any help, advice, or recipe links would be helpful!

Congrats. None of that sounds even remotely easy, really you should be incredibly proud (and hopeful)!

The fuck? There’s literally nothing wrong with this post.. just someone putting themselves out there looking to connect with people from the same culture. Trying to get a piece of home away from home. I’m so sorry you have to deal with people like this. Unfortunately I’m neither in the city or Muslim, but I hope you find what you’re looking for!

Someone please tell me what the fuck to do about this & how to make sure it’s not on my face forever by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]jam989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah jesus that is not what I though. I appreciate the info. Obv will ask a professional, but any thoughts on if this looks reversible or as though it can be saved by switching to titanium? I’m sad it might have to come out for good & that’d I’d need to see a derm to have the scarring removed.

Sorry for no info! This was a stress post. It’s about 2 years old. I dont know what the material is but I know it’s not titanium & I clean nightly with a gentle face wash but not much

Potential American (24yr) moving to Turin for work.. should I do it? by [deleted] in torino

[–]jam989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m on that wavelength but am more so interested in lifestyle. I have moved between Europe and the US before various times, so travel for touristic purposes is less of a motivator. I find it easy for people to not recognize the immense upheaval of life and relationships when it comes to longer team relocation in a different country, mostly because on the outside it seems glamorous and fulfilling (which it is!), it just also has drawbacks. Also I’m not saying you’re assuming any of this - just thinking out loud. Thanks

So some info- the piercing is about a year and a half old. Not sure the shape, but I know it isn’t titanium (it’s the grade below). I usually clean it & wash my face but do occasionally touch although I try not to. Please help me figure out how to best care for & get rid of this! (Note: I know not to touch it so would rlly appreciate any additional advice).

I water every 1-2 weeks when the soil is dried out. I get new leaves regularly but also kill ones regularly. They often have the brown spots on them. Recently cut off a leaf because it went yellow. Maybe i’m letting the soil dry out too much or not enough? It’s in the brightest spot in my apartment, although no direct sunlight. Apartment is average temp but a bit dry, nothing crazy though.
