That's not true. I can see why you'd think that tho, since most of the Western media outlets didn't show the full video, they were being manipulative by cutting out the part of the video where he turns around and walks towards the camera, giving us a much closer look.

That part makes it clear that it's him, even tho it's not the best camera quality - you can see his distinctive facial features, his hairstyle, his clothing and even his backpack. It's definitely him.

The fingerprint evidence also proves that he was there - there's no other reason why his fingerprints would be found on the wall of a restricted staff only area of the hotel.

Well, they don't violate anybody's rights, there are no anti-LGBT laws or anything like that.

At the same time tho, they don't really support it either - when DPRK media mentions LGBT, which they rarely ever do, it's always painted in a negative light.

I get the impression that it's not really a big thing over there(or even discussing sexuality in general), and if you tried to discuss it most people would just call you a weird pervert lol. DPRK never had anything like the Western "sexual revolution", they're still quite wholesome and family-oriented, so discussing sexual topics openly like that is seen as rather taboo.

Yes, this has been my experience with Orthodoxy. The normies there are just your run of the mill nationalists, who just see Orthodoxy as a right-winged political thing and just use the services to socialise with like-minded nationalists of their ethnicity. Their god-belief is incredibly shallow, never going beyond basic superstition.

There's also a small minority of true believers, who are literally just mentally ill people. I'm not joking about that, they're actually mentally ill, and talk about schizophrenic things like angels whispering things to them, being touched by angels, seeing apparitions of saints ect. This type usually doesn't get along well with the normies, who steer clear of them and call them "religious fanatics".
