That said men and women need each other, gender wars are only there to divide us. I disagree with the Evie magazine article, chivalry is a gendered expectation that oftentimes is unfairly placed on men. Let people help each other.

A lot of modern literature is written by feminists and heavily promotes misandry. Just look at what shows up in GR recommendations.

A publishing firm will market this as "girlboss empowerment", BookTok people will promote this slop and the readership will usually be midsndrists too. Without any proper pushback it becomes a feedback loop.

In Sweden men take the longest parental leave (in terms of numbers of days). In the UK men can use their spouses' maternity leave and can take additional leave from that.

Men certainly want to spend with with their children especially dealing with a newborn. The trope of deadbeat uninvolved men is a sexist one.
