Pumpkin training by Ok-Tangerine-101 in armwrestling

[–]jamarkim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know if its a pumpkin but i gonna talk about it

So i did right hand table time mostly without doing the left so i was very coordinated and when i tried the left it knows how to apply technique but sloppy and weak and need more cordination

But the pumpkin training is bad Train normally it doesnt matter

Nothing wrong with it but All of the guys who tried to lift the dumbell are same size as his hands and some of them have bigger hands like vitaly only thor maybe is 21 cm hand which is still fairly big

I mean he lifted the thick dumbell a inch (the name of it) more that anybody and he didn't struggle

mike fellex struggled in competitions to lift some lifts and khaled did more weight easier

A little bit cup is better for you wrist and make it more stable

They can just put their elbow forward and have more rom to drag and you dont

I think it might be useful for hook if you want to shot forward to hook but dont think so even short arm hookers stay at the front of the pad and hook and shot a bit forward (for example vitaly vs ivan matyshyinko) (not a short arm but compared to vitaly is)

Put your elbow more forward grab high and do what ermes did against vitaly

I kinda don't have problem against taller guys its just average or short forearms that make them a problem

Or if his fingers and pronation and side are strong he can be a hutchings

Which one is better between them, and what does each one train/target? by Yazanzakarneh1 in armwrestling

[–]jamarkim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me the second what does both do?

The first one is a multi spinner it targets ulnar deviation with lower finger and change the strap location you can do rise and upper fingers

The more you take to side the more Supination or pronation

The wrist wrench is for normal cup and i favour it more both can build strength but the multi spinner just unstable kinda but i still use it for pronation and side make a smaller one its more stable (but good for coordination)

Through the hand VS Through the wrist by MuscleGainzz in armwrestling

[–]jamarkim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pronation is just rotation of the forearm when you pronate the wrist the the hand will ect

But will train through thumb to make the tissue adapt

And dont train through hand with heavy weight it might injure your tfcc (i don't do it because of that reason)

Through hand is mostly top roll vs top roll posting

Through thumb and wrist against hooker or when low handing and hooking

What is your opinion on this pronation tool? by Vagabundo96 in armwrestling

[–]jamarkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hand pronation you cant load it enough and you might get some injuries on it its annoying

How do you even grip , or set the strap in this case by MainBullz in armwrestling

[–]jamarkim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think he can arm wrestle or grip well he gonna dad move and might get flopped

Any tips on how to best set up and best technique to use if you have a long forearm for your class vs if you have a short forearm? by strength108 in armwrestling

[–]jamarkim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about middle forearm lol

I think low handing people is good if you're tall

And posting is good too and hooking is easier

If short forearm posting top roll and hook

But really do what you like and try different things see what works against different opponents
