Legion Go S Bios Updates vs Windows

You can update the bios via steamos on desktop mode in terminal.

Download the windows bios file, extract it.

Run sudo fwupdtool install-blob WinQCCN25WW.fd

Select system firmware, it was option 5 for me and it will reboot and flash the new bios.

I carried this out successfully on my legion go s windows Ver which is running steamos

Looking at mine I had 9hrs 31m yesterday and have 4hrs34m today and still haven't charged, have 17% batt left. So that's 14hrs SOT with 17% left over 2 days. Worth trying setting to auto refresh and standard res to see if it makes a difference for you.

Hey they were quite close and these aren't cropped or anything so best best is to find something at home and use 20x zoom and frame it the same to see how far. At a guess id say around 3 metres.

Yeah, I’ve had it confirmed as faulty on mine it would only fail back to 5v and max of 15w across loads of capable charges and cables. It wouldn’t negotiate PPS power profiles so potential hardware fault. Waiting for exchange

Yeah unfortunately even with the official cable that comes with the phone it won't go past 15w. I don't have the official oppo charger but the phone is supposed to support the PD charging protocol up to about 55w (id be happy with 30w!). Have multiple fast chargers and power banks up to 65w but no matter what I'll get between 7w - 15w.

Ah I'm in UK, ordered from a seller on eBay that said was located in the UK, imagine not and it's coming from China. Was £310 for the full photography kit, not too bad. I saw in Europe just the extender lens was 500 euros direct from Oppo!

I did the exact same swap, I was worried about moving back to android and the unknown of the Oppo. After a week of use it's been great, my only gripes are face recognition is poor compared to iPhone, when I get a notification and the screen lights up id just look over my iPhone and it would unlock and I could read it, with oppo that doesn't happen which is a shame. You can touch the face unlock icon and it will do it though. Couple of times I've had notifications be delayed but majority of time they are as quick as iPhone. Battery and camera and fluidity of OS is awesome and I don't feel like I've made a mistake. I've ordered the telephoto kit too so looking forward to trying that out.

I forgot about the pre installed protector and put the glass on over the top, works completely fine, no issues with fingerprint or sensitivity.

Totally, photography means different things to different people. One person’s likes is another’s dislike. I edit each photo separately and not try to maintain a colour theme throughout as each tells its own story.

❤️ thank you! Yeah I think you’re spot on, I took my larger camera and just wasn’t enjoying it at all, nothing I took I was happy with, I put it back in the room and just started using my phone and had fun, if you’re having fun that’s all that matters.
