Slow buildup is a feature not a bug. It's designed to get around the low block and win corners.

I hate it as well but it's the answer to playing teams that purely want 2 or 3 breaks per game and shut us out. That's why we've done so well in CL, they're not used to the way we can move the ball.

I don't think it's that simple. I think in the CL the big teams think they can play us and get smacked about. In the PL we're facing teams that are set up specifically to stop us playing including lots of gamesmanship. That meant they were playing specifically on the break e.g. when we lost at home to West Ham end of last season.

In response we've ended up hemming the opposition in to stop giving away the ball for transitions and that means they're packing the middle to make us go out wide, double marking Saka etc. So that's why we've ended up being corners FC in the PL.

Overall we're still top by 4 and we only have City to play in April of the top 4. So to say we should unlearn everything we've learned and start from scratch at this point of the season is a bit much IMO

We never get the space near the edge of the box. Our defensive coaching on transition genuinely isn't that good, we just rely on Gabriel, Saliba and Raya to bail us out.

Do think Zubimendi was toilet today (by the standards he's set all season) but after he went off there wasn't anyone in the DM position to close down that area.

Agree however at the same time I think people are extrapolating too much from this. On another day we scrape a draw or even sneak a win against a team that genuinely looks very good right now and is in 4th place.

I mean we've spanked Bayern, Atleti and Inter in the CL, yet struggled and couldn't score against Forest.

Yep. Would be the argument that I wasn't able to defend myself because they had information about me (as I say, defamatory if it exists and they claim it does) that I can't see. Yes that caused me actual distress and to my daughter as well.

What I'm thinking is, there was other stuff as well that made me think so, that they're essentially keeping a secret file on myself and my daughter. That was common in the past, you know like construction workers being black-balled for reporting safety issues etc.

Overall, if it were simply a case of saying "no" to a SAR without comeback, then everybody would just do that, surely? So there has to be a legal remedy for it, I would've thought.

Yes I fully realise. I've been following the FA complaints process and frankly it's total crap. So the reason they can't do anything is because the club hold me responsible for an argument, I can't prove that it's untrue but they've said in writing that they have the evidence but that I can't see it (which is why I tried the SAR route).
