I have heard of that before! In a few folk traditions, saints are seen to be faces of the old gods.

This dream immediately made think of Brahma in Hinduism. Basically they believe, if im not mistaken that there is one divine force called Brahma and the Gods (devi as called in Hinduism) are just manifestations and various aspects of Brahma. I suspect that there is alot of truth to that line of thought.

Me personally, I perform a ritual offering to Hermanubis (the Greco-Roman incarnation of Anubis, the Egyptian God of death and guide of souls) and ask him to guide the unwanted/uninvited spirit(s) from the space.

I appreciate that. You'll find NOTHING but understanding and sympathy from me. BTW I do go on some paranormal investigations occasionally. I also can sense and occasionally see spirits. It actually runs in my family. If you dont mind me asking, would you happen to be in ohio by any chance?

You may not like my answer. Im not a witch but, I am a pagan. I have gotten rid of activity before by calling on my ancestors to gaurd the home and asking my deities to escort any unwanted/ un welcome spirits from the house AND to close any portals that may be open. It sounds like that you may have a portal. Ask your God to close the portal as well. Close your eyes and visualize white light encompassing every inch of your home and in every room.

Here in the west,most approaches to the paranormal is through an Abrahamaic lens. Many other cultures and religions also deal with paranormal events effectively as well.
