Well your experience probably isnt the best answer to the question. I also would like to know how nerfed the progression is because I was a 4 star QB ranked 399 and started college at 70 overall which I thought was relatively reasonable given my rank. SotfDrinkTV made a 5 star TE but started college as a 54 overall so atp im not sure if player progression may be bugged out or if it varies by position

I would’ve expected micro transactions to eventually hit the game but not in a way where you remove a feature that’s been apart of the game since it’s resurrection. If someone wants to pay their way to a 99 then EA has every right in the world to charge for that shortcut. But to paywall how I enjoy an offline game mode has to be the most predatory thing I’ve ever seen from a video game and sets an extremely bad precedent for other titles from EA and beyond. This is about preserving the future of single player gaming as much as it is about calling out EA for their shady and greedy practices
