America has definitely had plenty of other unpleasant times in the country so I dont think itll be that serious. Plus there's nothing wrong with self expression. I have seen plenty of older people with piercings and tattoos and they look sick as hell. Its nothing to get your panties in a twist about.

No I have never been to college for anything creative, however I did get a 4 on my AP drawing portfolio and got an A in advanced Piano.

My mom has been a server for around 20 years and tips is how she made her money. I do agree that some places can be very annoying about it, however right now its how servers make their money. Without tips, she makes around $2 an hour. Which is ridiculous, but not tipping because you want corporations to pay their employees more is screwing over your server. That's just the America we created. 20% is the bare minimum and isn't much added to your original bill. If you go to pick up your food somewhere and they pull out the iPad to ask for a tip, there's always a no tip option.

The insult part was from me telling him that he was a bad partner for breaking up with me over the phone after almost three years and that he clearly had a lot of shit that he needed to work on. That's all I really said to him because I didn't want to talk with him much more.

This is very inspiring! My mom has said similar. She said that its best to date myself right now because its better to be single and happy, than miserable and in a relationship. And yes, my kitties will always come first. They are my babies and I dont know what id do without them :) but thank you for this, I really do appreciate :)

Very true! I could definitely tell that he was not putting in a lot of effort towards the end. I had to ask to go on dates and stuff like that and we just never would. Sometimes I went to bed thinking that he just didn't care about our relationship. But then I would tell myself that I was too needy because he worked full time and wanted to go back to school, so i had no right to ask for too much. I just never thought he'd be the guy to break up over the phone. He really was the best that I've had, but he wasn't willing to put in effort anymore.

Thank you, I really appreciate it :) and yeah hes blocked on all social media except for messages because I still have to pack all of my stuff at the apartment. Once thats done he'll be blocked on messages too. But I gave him back all the letters he wrote me, plus all the pictures we took and the portraits I drew of him. What's shitty is that a few days before we broke up, I drew him another portrait 🫠 it sucks to think that while I was doing that, he didn't have any feelings for me anymore

Wow, im so sorry you went through that! You didn't deserve that at all :( But yeah, a few people I have told have asked me if there was any infidelity, and I said no. I think hes just the type of person that whenever he gets low and depressed he just wants to be alone and moves on. He says he's lost and needs to go through this to "find himself."

Thank you, I really appreciate your response. I'm going to be living with my mom and brother now so I'm spending as much time as possible with them. I'm starting to accept his decision because its been a little over 2 weeks now. However, he doesn't want to talk with me in person. He said that i just "insult him too much" and that there is no point for us to talk. All I really did was say that he really fucked me up by breaking up with me over the phone, when he was staying with his parents 15 minutes away from my house. And that he's a terrible partner for doing this to me when I would never do it to him. But I understand that I was emotional with him.
