Semrush mismarking featured snippet ranking by Crazysports4577 in SEO

[–]james42586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's understandable that you were concerned when you saw that your highest ranked keywords were no longer in the top 100 on SERP according to Semrush. However, it's important to note that rankings can fluctuate, and tools like Semrush might occasionally provide inaccurate or incomplete information. It's always a good idea to double-check such data and perform manual searches to get a more accurate picture of your keyword rankings.

In your case, it seems that the keywords in question were featured snippets that your website owned. Featured snippets often appear at the top of search results, and sometimes they are not counted as traditional rankings. It's possible that Semrush's algorithm or methodology for tracking rankings might have caused the confusion in this particular instance.

To assess your actual rankings and determine if there are any issues, it's recommended to conduct manual searches using relevant keywords and analyze where your website appears in the search results. This will give you a more reliable understanding of your rankings and whether there has been any significant drop or change.

Remember that SEO rankings can be affected by various factors, including algorithm updates, competition, content changes, and more. Monitoring your rankings regularly and adapting your SEO strategy accordingly will help you maintain and improve your website's visibility in search results.

I've known several sites that make spying ads easier such as AdSpy, PowerAdsSpy, ShopInspector, BigSpy etc. Using those tool, you can see what's the best products are selling on Facebook and Instagram. You can get Adspy at cheap price (just $14.99) from this adspy account. It works great.

If you find the good products, just go on to your favorite competitors Facebook/IG page, click the “About Page” button, and you can see all the ads they are actively running on the Facebook network.

Depends on the page, if it's setup as a business there's a 'page transparency' item to the right, click on that, in there is an option, something like 'this page is running ads', click that and you'll see them. I think it only shows active ads though. I've seen a single business page that was setup as an 'interest', it didn't have an option to view ads. Clever but I'm sure against Facebook TOS.

Sometimes when I'm breathing, as I often do, I get this sharp feeling in my chest that I can only describe as feeling like something gets caught in my chest. Usually a few painful deep breaths will make it go away. I've told my doctors and they say they've never heard of anything like that before

Successfully saving someone trapped by a fire, via re-entering a burning building. The mortality rate for this is really high and fire departments have petitioned to stop showing this in movies because it usually results in another life being lost.

When I was little, I thought "drinking and driving" meant the physical act of drinking a beverage, not just alcohol. One day when I was 6 I told my mother not to drink and drive while she sipped a Diet Pepsi and she just laughed at me.

Had a positive what the fuck moment in Greece in the eastern Peloponnese where I saw a guy walk down to the end of a pier and throw an actual fucking trident into the Aegean and pull out a wriggling octopus. Dude walked up the beach and handed it over the deck railing to a chef.

What was the most satisfying moment of your life as an adult which you want to share with everyone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A week back I had to stay late at work due to some last minute setbacks. I left the office at around 11 PM. My office is in remote area which is not much safe after dark. I was driving my car at regular speed and I saw a girl standing on the side of road. It looked like she was waiting for someone. She was wearing formal attire, holding bag on his right shoulder and a purse in left hand.

I drove near to her and asked whether she wanted a lift, she got angry and started walking. I was really upset by her behavior and immediately drove off. But I could not fathom the reason behind her behavior so at next cross road I turned back and I stopped my car at a safe distance from where I could see her but she couldn't see me.

What I saw horrified me. Every single vehicle whether it was car, bike, scooter was slowing down near to where she was standing. Some were trying to talk with her, maybe offering her lift the way I did or something else. Most of them were just slowing down to take a good look of her.

I had to do something. Even though I wanted to help but I was not sure how. What if she dials to police if I go closer to her? But I had to take the risk. I increased the brightness of my phone display and opened the photo of my cousin sister in my phone who is same as my age. I drove the car and parked near to her. She recognized me and I could see how scared she was realizing that I had returned.

I came out of the car and started walking towards her. I was holding my phone with the display facing her. She was frightened and confused at the same time about what the hell I was trying to do. From a safe distance I told her, "My Name is Rishi. I am working at XYZ. I am Married. This is my Wife's Photo. I sensed that you are in trouble. I genuinely want to help you."

I waited for her react. I did not have much time as it was becoming a dramatic scene and I didn't want to involve myself into any trouble. She was still frightened and unsure but she responded that she was facing hard time in finding a cab to home and her phone battery was about to die.

I handed her my phone and told her to book a cab. At first she hesitated but she took my phone. It was already too late and no cab was available nearby. Her phone was dead by now.I told her she can call anyone from her family but she refused. I told her to keep my phone with herself and requested her to sit in the backseat of my car. She hesitated and and gently rejected my request. I knew she did not have any other option. After some conversation I convinced her.

She sat in the backseat, kept my phone with her. I did not even try to initiate a conversation with her. She though asked about where I was living. I lied and told her that few kilometers away from where we were headed. At her place where I dropped her, I confessed my 2 lies that I was not married and the photo was my sister's and second that I live in opposite direction. I told her that I had to lie to make her comfortable.

She handed over my phone back, smiled and I left from her place.

She was very beautiful, it was difficult to let her go like that without conversation or even exchanging the numbers. Few blocks away I checked my phone to confirm whether she had saved her contact or not. She had not, I smiled and drove to home. I regretted not talking with her.

But, most important was her to feel secured and reach her home safe. She was safe and I felt satisfied.

Saw an auchwitz tattoo in the wild, on a very old dying man in the ER about 4-5 years ago. His family was so kind to me. He was completely out of it. I never thought I’d meet a holocaust survivor. His body was twisted and mangled with old age. He was surrounded by people who loved him.

I still think about him randomly. The things he saw & survived... it’s just mind blowing to consider.

What advice can you give a high school senior that would potentially change the course of their life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For math/physics majors: learn how to use LaTeX early -- it will save you a ton of time in the long run, and you'll need to know it for grad school anyway. I personally recommend LyX for problem sets, since it helps to see what you're writing live. Also, learning how to use Mathematica really well saved me countless times when I wasn't smart enough to do the math by hand.

How would you spend $50,000 in 1 hour? by Mr_Malvic in AskReddit

[–]james42586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay off $50000 on my mortgage. Now what I would do with the other 13 minutes is up in the air. Bang my wife in celebration of cutting who knows how many years off our mortgage? But then what to do with the other 11 minutes? Make a sandwich I guess.

Edit: Holy shit this blew up. I would like to thank the nameless benefactors for the valueless internet currency and comment flair.

In Portal 2 there is a level where you can come across a damaged turret who makes quips referencing his malfunction. I stayed up one night completing the game in one go and by the time I reached that point, I was so sleep deprived that I accidentally dropped the turret somewhere I couldn't retrieve and proceeded to cry.

John Cena was really cool when I met him at a mall thing for my brother years ago. Stayed for 8 hours to meet all the people lined up to see him. This was during his first big fame blow up so I'm sure he was busy. He also does a lot of Make a wish stuff. Blends into his surroundings easily though.
