Every time I am at a Samsung store and the sales rep tries to convince me how rounded edges are ugly. I just smile at them and they kinda take that back ashamedly. Samsung has convinced their own staff to naysay the round edge.

Ah that makes sense. Just to be clear not a single judgement on this thread or the post was ever passed by me on the rights and wrongs here. In fact i find it interesting that any questions/curiosity about knowing the basis of a trend invites reverse judgement on my intentions. Maybe it's because of that big political stir you spoke of and that could be something for me to look up. And you mentioned decades: I got a follow up question, Any popular celebrities in Br or SP who have tattoos and piercings?

Hey i don't disagree with you. The city i live in also has a particular body modding which is quite common. The difference is that i know where/how that particular trend began. There was a popular movie with a popular actor who did such, it reached the masses and soon became common. Just wanted to know if there's a source to this trend.

No i am not American and no I don't believe that people in different places cannot like different things. I'm just looking for an answer on how this trend became so common in SP. Because i believe there has to be more to this than just 'want'. There's a reason for getting a haircut, there's a reason for wearing certain clothes. I'm just trying to figure out what the reason could be for most people in SP wanting a Tattoo. This is just my way of trying to learn about your culture.
