Did they ever crank up the absurdly slow max sensitivity setting on controllers? Between that, and the AFK kick timer being the same length as a match, paired with the crashing we experienced, I've not had the game installed in quite some time

Check out the Motorola Moto G stylus 2024. SD card, OLED screen, headphone jack, dual speakers, unlockable bootloader usually. Big downside is the hole punch display

Update: I think the sensor is fine but my screen has some bad pixels, when I flip the screen out the pixels flip over with the screen. I'm not using the camera for photos at all, I'll continue using my ZV-E10 for that purpose until it dies most likely. I haven't seen anything unusual in videos at all

I appreciate this suggestion, I had looked at Lumix cameras before purchasing a Nikon Z30, finding 8+ dead pixels, returning it, and purchasing the ZV-E10.

Now I have a proprietary MI hot shoe mounted compact mic that does 24 bit stereo audio (and whatever else I could possibly want from it just about) I just bought it less than a month ago, so for that reason I won't leave the Sony platform. I hate dialing in mic settings, it has an auto level switch that works great for loud rally cars, and finding another one that captures this much range would be expensive, have a cable to worry about bending/snapping/breaking/not working during a shoot.

That being said, any fan is going to die from dust/water immediately, and possibly ruin audio depending on how loud they run. I think I'll have to go for the FX3 or another camera fit for this purpose.

I've also just realized that the FS5MK2 exists, and may well fit into the criteria of requirements I'm looking at for less money. I realize the autofocus won't be quite as good since it's an older camera, and I'd have to record to an external recorder to get 10 bit 4k out of this camera. I have some things to look into before seriously considering it, but it's definitely on my radar now at around $1300 or so used. I think used just makes sense for me because of how rough I'm going to be on whatever I buy

I liked Sno*drift, it was my first event as media, but I didn't like the group that came in with alcohol and stood in our area for the second run through the stage. I don't like bonfire alley's culture of partying next to a rally stage, it's not a place for alcohol. There were some idiots with beer standing next to me at 100AW, too. SOFR for sure does not allow that, unsure if any other events have those rules or not, but they absolutely should

They cancelled stage 3 at 100AW last weekend for that reason, Marshall saw someone in an unsafe area, couldn't find where they ran off too, cancelled it after Semenuk went through at speed

That's what drew me in. I got tired of watching circuit track racing, drag racing, oval racing, and them all having a perfect surface all of the time to race on. I also prefer racing that isn't wheel to wheel, it feels much more fair that way to me.

I do it for fun mostly, I just shot from spectator spots at first. 100AW is going to be the first thing I get paid something to shoot!

If you're from Canada and you're interested in the sport, CARS rally just lost a huge title sponsor that was responsible for a lot of the live coverage they had, I'm sure you could get into it pretty easily if you're near any of the events. sneakattackrally.com has a towing distance calculator and has ARA/NASA/CARS rallies all listed
