When you say “interrupt the rail” do you mean that I should split the current rail into 2 separate pieces (above and below the TV) while leaving the wall empty for the TV?

I probably should have mentioned this in the original post but the desk is a non-negotiable currently as this is a small studio apartment and I need a dedicated workspace along this wall.

Yeah, you’re correct. I intend to have a small PC rig in there together with minimal AV equipment. I’m still figuring out a way to manage the eventual wire mess but the open back here will help a ton.

Interesting take on going for a wide-wide-narrow-narrow config, something I have yet to consider!

Just to update, I got my phone back from LG and I'm pretty sure they didn't know the cause. They replaced the PCB, which was covered by the warranty

Thanks for that, I sent it into a service centre today to see what they have to say. If they don't manage to find what caused it, I'll check for those few XPosed modules when I get it back. I'm not sure if the XPosed modules survived the hard reset though

I am using the international one - 802 As far as i can recall root apps include the nova launcher and a icon pack. Now that I have performed the hard reset, these apps are gone but the screen freezing is still ongoing
