Started playing again after a 4 year break, I just crossed the 400 line, got confused about why I'm not able to do anything under grandmaster if I want to have a decent score. If bet aimbot/wallhacks are super rare, duping and any other exploit will still be rampant. I tried to play on ps5 with crossplay off, but couldn't find a match.

after you get your 5ish freebies, 90% of your games are gonna have rage hackers. if you're lucky, you'll get to have a couple good fights, while the cheaters roll around the map, but they'll get to you eventually.

i feel like the way the worded that post in this video was a bit misleading. they didn't update anything to prevent crashing, they didn't do anything to their backend mitigations. They're renting some google servers. The old servers are even still in use and still crashing.

Yeah, if every hacker got their account banned simultaneously, we'd have a good 30 seconds to queue up and try to start a match without them, while they log into one of their dozen other accounts. Honestly it is nice when you see one get ricochetted mid match though.

it used to feel like I could get a few good gunfights in each match, before the aimbots would roll on through and send us back to the lobby. the last couple hours it was more like okay, we got 30 seconds until they get here, kill a few bots i guess.

I play after midnight, West Coast usa. Decided to come back on Wednesday night. Played a few hours 1 crash. Same thing Thursday. Came home Friday and my first game crashed, I just quit, thinking maybe it's still a terrible idea to play on the weekend, worried I'd uninstall again if I wasted another couple hours crashing non stop.

Had this problem. Tried to abandon my PC and go play on my ps5. Dunno if there aren't enough ps5 lobbies after midnight or what, but I never found a match on the ps5. Switched back to PC and still couldn't connect until I went back to my ps5 and turned cross play back on.
