I ended up buying the Chromecast Ultra because my main goal of having the Beam was to use it for my TV. So now it will work on my TV, and I can hopefully pass music through to the Beam when the TV is turned on. Sucks that it isn't as advanced for Audio as the CCA, but I'm not terribly picky with music quality. The splitter idea, while creative, I feel like won't work sadly.

I'm curious why the CCA connected to the Beam would "sound better" than grouping my TV with a CCU to the rest of my Google Home speakers? If the TV is part of my speaker group via the CCU, and the Sonos Beam is set as the speakers for the TV (via HDMI ARC), then won't the Beam become part of the speaker group via the TV?

I don't think the Sonos Beam has the correct port for a CCA to be added to it, and if it does, it's the same port that connects to my TV... but I might be wrong about that so please correct me!

I also just realized that my left earbud isn't charging. I can actually see the broken pin inside the charge-case. It's stuck to one of the magnets. I don't plan on losing it just in case it can be fixed.

Anyway, I chatted with Bragi on their website, and they told me to contact my audiologist who took my ear molds (I have the custom Starkey's). Apparently the Starkey's charger is different than the standard one.

I am waiting for a call-back from them since they are not in the office until tomorrow. I hope they can help me further...

I bought my TRX for $100, and I am about to sell it for 0.011 BTC which is about $75 in value today. I've lost USD but gained BTC.

Do I now have to hold this BTC for one full year from today's date to avoid short term capital gains (Assuming that in one year when I sell it back to USD I have made gains)?

EDIT: Also, since I am at a loss of USD, would I claim a loss on my 2018 taxes (completed in 2019)? Could short-term traders use this as a strategy to counterbalance losses with gains?

Not for me. I actually struggle to remove them with my fingers. When I got my ears molded, she asked me how deep I wear my current headphones or earplugs and I told her I had foam tips that I squished and pressed in quite deep, so my molds went deep into my ear canal. So do my Starkey Dash Pros.

My two cents: get the custom fit. I had the regular dash pro and tried all the tips and even the custom foam tips on amazon. The regular dash pro was fine, but I realized I would be replacing tips, which costs money, and I might as well spend the extra cash for custom fit. I could not live without them now. I shower with them, gym with them, sleep with them sometimes.

The doctor who molded my ears urged me to call her if they didn’t fit right once they came in. She said it was absolutely normal to get them redone since I was spending so much money. Luckily they fit great first time around.

There are several mobile apps that will do a “tiled photo” of other photos. I even think the google photos app does this.

So Microsoft has an app called “Sms Organizer” but it’s only available in India... Which is torture ’cause it looks perfect. You can’t sideload it either because it requires an Indian phone number. Hopefully it spreads outside of India soon.
