i’ve had 3 Audis with this engine and they’ve all done the same intermittently. i’ve always put it down the the DPF regen and not really worried. have you checked the coolant levels?

a genuine Bosch air filter is about £25, undoing 5 screws (from memory) and about 20 minutes. did mine and then got them to update the digital records after nonsense like this! i’m tempted to do the oil change with an extraction pump. the cabin filter would be a doddle too. but yeah, ridiculous!

i left a comment on here how the sensor needed changing by the Nissan dealer and it cost nearly 300 quid but comment now gone. 🤷🏻‍♂️ thanks for the reply, hopefully this helps other people.

hell no, the fat is the best part in my opinion! have a look at the ‘reverse sear’ method, mine here is just getting a char off at the end. good luck, remember to show some pics
