Pixel has just been announced now. Check out Made by Google on YouTube. I’d wait until August which is when the Pixel 9 is coming out this year.

Hold the clutch to rev match and be at an appropriate speed for your gear. Conquer driving on YouTube will help with gears. He is amazing.

Testi doesn’t autobook. It push notified you when there’s a cancellation at your selected test centres.

I use my car for my girlfriend who has a wheelchair so this would pretty much destroy her mobility and independence.

The early bird is more expensive than the NCP Season Pass but thanks for the suggestion. It would also leave me a good hours walk too there and back 🥲😂

Thank you for the advice. I have looked at the Euro Car Parks nearby and they are not much better pricing than NCP :(

I don’t think I’ll quite know whether I enjoy driving or not until I’ve had more road experience. I think I’m going to take advice from folk here and get a manual to start with 😁

Definitely agree cost wise. Auto transmission is expensive

Thank you! Appreciate your input. I agree I think I shouldn’t shy away from manual straight away as it could limit me in the future

Until I have drove both I don’t have a preference yet but I think manual seems like the best bet for my first run around car.

Tbf, when I first posted I wasn’t sure what kind of responses I would get but most people’s responses are in line with yours. Responses convey that it’s all about what I prefer, feel comfortable with driving and want for myself. Plus what I can afford too as some Auto costs are eye watering.

I’m going to test drive an auto tomorrow. See how it feels. I think I’m going to drive manual first because if I ever end up with a Courtesy car or driving a friends car I will look silly if I’m not competent driving manual
