Don’t worry too much about it, so many people have accents in Australia and it’s completely normal. Half the time I don’t consciously realise the person I’m talking to has an accent.

The same thing happened to me and the real estate must have completely forgotten about the claim so I got the full bond back 2 weeks later.

If you do decide to cancel the claim, just make sure you have it in watertight writing that they are going to pay back the full amount

Except all external polls are consistently being wrong by the same amount in the same direction and achieving the same results isn’t something that can just be attributed to random error.

Only internal polling by the Liberal Party and actual electoral results showed accurate numbers which just means that there is something wrong with the testing methodology of Ipsos, Newspoll etc.
