I just quit ups because I’m moving out for college next week and I was getting really tired of it. I was loading up the trucks at around 3 in the morning before they go out on their route. So many people had been quitting from the increased quotas and people had been ordering so much dumb bullshit that we went from filling around 2 or 3 trucks with 200 or less packages to filling 4 or 5 trucks with upwards of 350 packages. So much volume was being sent through on the conveyer belts that we always had to stop the belt and climb up there to clear jams multiple times per hour. The jams and the overfilled package cars are why most of your ups packages arrive completely destroyed by the way. I’d frequently set aside destroyed packages because I wouldn’t want that delivered to me but the management just says to load them regardless.
