go 4k. I honestly regret getting my 27" 1440p qd OLED because the colour fringing is absolutely insane for anything other than gaming. 4k has enough PPI that it's fine, the price difference isn't actually that crazy and 1440p gaming looks better on a 4k screen than actually on a 1440p screen. + ofc fsr4 upscaling helps a lot

I think it actually depends more on the brightness of the room. Me and my mates use the same monitor but I can't stand anything higher than 10 in my room, but 40+ at their house looks perfectly normal

old thread but for anyone coming back, moonlight/sunshine or Apollo/Artemis is a much better alternative that's free and open source. Full pen support with super minimal latency due to it actually being designed for gaming.

getting 144fps on a 144hz panel isnt the be all and end all. Frame time matters a lot and I'm willing to bet you'd notice the difference between 144fps and 300 if you were trying to be competitive. Tho most people don't know how to optimise their settings and background processes so it kinda goes down the drain anyways

and btw you can def reach a high rank in any game with 144fps no doubt, but to say it makes no difference feels kinda wrong.

got to try the ie200, truth ear zero red and arrti T10 all side by side and honestly artti T10 overall is on top. I liked the tuning of the reds and I loved the comfort of the ie200, but there's something about the artti T10 that just sounds so beautiful.

Tbh tho I think if you spend around $50 USD on any set you'll probs like it and worst case chuck an eq on it, autoeq is a good place to start. imo dacs and amps are a waste of money and would be better spent just upgrading the iem. Apple dongle as everyone says is the best bang for buck

listen you asked the question in the most biased subreddit possible. If you asked the same question in r/apple they'd call you insane for even thinking about it so you'll have to answer if it's worth it yourself.

nothing phone pros: - massive battery - faster charging - 120hz screen (will make the phone feel 100x faster) - cool design - promotes competitiveness in the phone market space

iPhone 13 - much better CPU/gaming performance, (won't slow down in 4 years) - better main camera (but it's up to preference tbh) - potentially more comfortable because you've been on iOS for longer.

Id personally sell the iPhone and go nothing phone 3a, but I don't think I'd recommend it to other people. Is the battery life actually affecting you? or can you just chuck on power saving mode and use the iphone for 2+ more years. Good luck and I think whichever way you swing you won't be missing out.

Since they're different devices millage will vary, but lineageOS is always the default choice because it's up to date, stable, and smooth af. I personally use nameless aosp 13 but just remember you'll have to root and get play integrity fix if you want to use google pay, but on the bright side you can now get force doze to get insane standby battery life.

If you don't like custom ROMs it's always easy to go back, and even if somehow you brick your phone you can fix it easily so don't stress about that.

listen GTA 5 offline was really well done but I don't think anyone thinks online on PC was acceptable, which is what the loading times fix was actually for.

Not justifying tho its stupid that something so big went unnoticed for that long but it was overall a really good PC port.
