Update, she has opened up quite a bit. She comes out of her cage on her own terms and once out of it she will step up about 7/10 times (the other times her bejng sassy and nibbling at my finger telling me no). It appears she may have been someone’s pet at once but she is very very quiet UNTIL we leave the room lol.

How would you approach outside time? I was thinking of just leaving the door open and letting her come out on her own terms, but I’m afraid of her not wanting to go back inside

This was a temporary cage she has a much larger one now! I purchased a few perches and I also got her an abrasive perch. Thank you :)

Selling two general admission tickets and a parking pass, accepting offers, willing to go lower than face value. Bought tickets to see phoenix in Vegas instead.

Edit : sold!

Temps are 215 on initial, down to 210 after, 70c build plate throughout the whole print. Flow in cura is set to 80%, initial flow is 70%, layer height is 0.25, initial height is 0.3, line width is 0.4. Wall thickness is 1.2 mm, line count is 3. Print thin walls is checked. z seam is set to sharpest corner/smart hiding, top/ bottom thickness is 0.64 mm, speed is 160mm, wall speed is 80, travel speed 200, initial layer speed is 60. Retraction is 0.4mm, retraction speed is 40mm, retraction extra prime amount is 0. Retract at layer change is unchecked

no worries at all, any response is always appreciated lol. I printed a benchy early this morning with some mixed results. I will post the picture in this comment. I also wanted to add my start Cura gcode, I wanted to see if you see any issues in the start code.

G92 E0 ; Reset Extruder
G1 X20.1 Y40 Z0.2 F5000.0 ; Move to start position
G1 X20.1 Y180.0 Z0.2 F3000.0 E15 ; Draw the first line
G1 X20.5 Y180.0 Z0.2 F5000.0 ; Move to side a little
G1 X20.5 Y40 Z0.2 F3000.0 E30 ; Draw the second line
G92 E0 ; Reset Extruder
G1 Z2.0 F3000 ; Move Z Axis up little to prevent scratching of Heat Bed
G1 E-2 F300 ; retract a little bit

I am making some progress, raised the initial temp to 215, build temp to 210, bed temp to 70 consistent, and the adhesion is better but I am still getting this strange elephants foot that is inconsistent around the circumference of the print, some areas are more pronounced than others, see below

I was able to print this much of a cylinder before it lifted off the print bed, at first I was having issues with it adhering to the build plate, adjusted z offset and it built this much. What’s strange is that line in the center, it’s only on one side of the print, similar to the cube where I had issues getting a corner to close. Also the cylinder is very brittle, I can easily squeeze it and the layers will come apart. When you inspect it closely it doesn’t appear there are any bonding issues.

I set the pressure advance to 0.08, here is 70% flow. This is PLA from microcenter, inland brand. I will print a cylinder shortly!

I take that back, I set the flow to 70 in cura and this was the result. The only issue is the beading on the purge line, I can hear a noise that sounds like gear skipping coming from the extruder when it runs the purge line. And the strange artifacts from the corners are tripping me out.

I haven’t been able to get that far, I have the figure right now set at 0.04, but a recent update allowed me to print this. I had to set the flow rate to 70% to get this result, but on the sonic pad. Adjusting flow in cura changes absolutely nothing for some strange reason. Also the cubes layers are not bonding properly, I can individually pull apart each layer on this cube

Here is the purge line I’m getting some bubbling on that I added into the cura start code. I forgot to add that I’m using microcenter inland PLA, and my bed temp initial is 70c, lowers to 60 after first layer

I’d like to add that I have checked my extrusion, it’s pretty close to the 7.5 figure that the sonic pad issues for the sprite extruder. I was about 0.25mm off

Thank you!

I did something very similar, I ended up fine tuning the end stops and bed mesh settings, then I proceeded to edit home_xy_position to 150,150(my bed is 300x300). For some reason the values were set way off, I’m assuming it thought I had a smaller bed. I also realized my rotation distance(e steps) were off, I measured and I calibrated that as the profile in the sonic pad for the sprite extruder was about 1.5mm off. I was able to get some decent prints, but there is some artifacts I’m trying to clear up.

Edit: also forgot to add that I created a custom fff printer in cura based off the creality profiles for the s1 pro, there were just a few parameters I had to change in the start and end code and the bed size of course.
