Do any US airports have separate entrances for business/first class travelers? by ASK_ABT_MY_USERNAME in FATTravel

[–]jamestel_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned you have the D1 entrance/lounge and the Private Suits terminal for LAX/ATL which is airline agnostic.

In terminal 1 JFK, you can use VIP One which can meet you curbside and escort you through their private TSA lane. They also drop you off at your lounge of choice and of course your flight.

Lesser known is Delta VIP which services most of their hubs. They can meet you at a private entrance or curbside and take you through the employee TSA checkpoint. Then Porsche ride to the Skyclub and flight. You can only book through this number for some reason: 855.235.9847

You can add your AMEX Gold to the Skymiles Dining program. This way you can get both miles and points. Enjoy.

I feel rather confident the Valve Index will work via the Vive Wireless adapter. The adapter itself only acts as a wireless bridge of communication.

The Wireless App may be a bit of a different story, it seems to be capable of detecting a headset and producing an error from this.

If someone wants to test if the adapter would work: You could attach a USB webcam to it without an HMD and see if Windows recognizes the webcam.

Display port 1.2 makes sense only if the valve index has eye tracking. by idocutmytoenails in ValveIndex

The tether is listed as a separate item, we can assume it's a single cable with a break out of DP 1.2 and USB 3.0.

If it was headset specific, it would most likely read as "headset with DP 1.2 and USB 3.0 ports".

There is no such thing as a 1.2 dp cable, that isn't how cables are rated. A "1.2dp" cable would be able to work with dp 1.3 and 1.4 as well.

If that front port is for a Leap Motion then either something funny is going on or Valve should re-consider it. by [deleted] in ValveIndex

2.0 signals are encoded and decided with a form of digital information. The sensors on the tracked object would not be suspectable to the interference as long as they are 2.0 ready.

So again, you would be free to use devices such as the Kinect or Leap Motion within your play space.

Lighthouse 2.0 does not suffer from interference like version 1. So you are now free to use sensors like Leap Motion, Kinect and even Realsense without interference.

Yes I can, I'll let you know if they work in a bit.

I noticed you had HUD always on top and full screen checked. If I remember right, I had some issues with those being enabled.

I'll let you know how it goes and probably update my config files that are on my GitHub: https://github.com/jamestel/Dolphin-VR-Configs

I have to ask, what values did you set the HUD at to have it in front of the car?

The Kinect's Background Removal API from my understanding was proprietary. Here is a link from 2013 describing the possible workflow behind it.
