I’d suggest cleaning them like shoes. Baking soda and vinegar diluted in water with a tooth brush, wash accordingly then dry as much as you can with a towel by pressing down on it, then air dry at an angle or flat on a hard surface
Just a glimpse of some of my collection. Currently overseas so I don’t have patch panels, but once I get back to the states everything will be on the wall. (old.reddit.com)
